Opal LED Bulbs
Known as opal LED bulbs and frosted LED bulbs, these bulbs have opaque glass so they don't show the shape of the filament. With a smart appearance and a choice of colour temperatures, these bulbs have a traditional feel to them, much like the old style pearl bulbs, but with the energy-efficiency of LED.

Frosted Light Bulbs
Known as opal bulbs and frosted light bulbs, these bulbs have opaque glass so they don't show the shape of the filament. With a smart appearance and a choice of colour temperatures, these bulbs have a traditional feel to them, much like the old style pearl bulbs, but with the energy-efficiency of LED.
Frosted light bulbs will produce a softer, more diffused light which is ideal for family rooms, bedrooms, living, and dining rooms. They are also used in chandeliers, pendant fixtures, and wall lights. Frosted bulbs are often suited better for lights that use shades because clear bulbs often cast filament striations onto the fabric, which will make it look dirty or stained.
We have a great selection of frosted light bulbs in a variety of different cap sizes including B15, B22, E14, and E27. Our popular clear LED bulbs also come in several different colour temperatures including warm white and cool white.
A great place to start is the B15 Opal Candle LED Bulb in warm white or the E27 ES 3000K Opal LED Candle. Both of these popular frosted bulbs are dimmable. If you are working on a larger project, then we also have multipacks of two, five, and ten opal LED bulbs in different cap sizes.
